do you think that it would be better for me to buy a catshark egg or the catshark already hatched?

i have a 180

can i put two in
they will be small

Eventually, the 180 will be too small for 1.

Look into coral catsharks they stay under "30 instead of growing over 48".

It depends on the kind of shark.

Between a live free-swimming shark pup and a Shark egg - your always better off getting the live shark pup. Perferably one that already is feeding on it's own. Generally speaking it tends to be very hard to get a shark in an egg to hatch and start feeding on it's own, especially if you're inexperienced at trying to do so.

As for tank size - a 180 gallon tank is fine for small shark pups (catsharks, bamboos, & eppies) - but really isn't large enough to keep any adult aquarium suitable shark in for the rest of it's life.
