Since I lost my greyhound to multiple lymphoma in early September, I really felt a little funny just going about my buisness, it used to be wake up feed the fish, let out Ranger and then feed him, maybe take him for a walk(depending on how his joints were), hang out with him, visit some friends around town with him, take a nap, wake up let him out feed him feed the fish go to bed wake and repeat. And besides school that was those only things I did most of the time. So since he died I've been feeling kinda wierd, like that feeling you know you forgot do do something, only I knew what I didn't do. I've almost always had a dog and normaly even after a emotional passing it would only be a few months since I adopt another dog. But since the medical bills from Rangers different tests are still hanging around I haven't gotten another dog, and probably won't for a while.
However I have decided on the breed of dog I want next, Catahoula Leapard dog, the name jumps out of your mouth and into your heart.

So I've been doing research on the breed and know this would be a good breed for my family and I. But I figured more research is always good so I was wondering if anyone has had expirence with this breed, I have a good size yard, I'm fairly active and the dog would be taken with but not used on hunting trips.
