catalina aquarium ca918 canister

has anyone used it? i ordered one off of the catalina aquarium site and it was only 60$ with shipping. it's obviously an ehiem pro 2 rip off and rated as 350gph but i was wondering if anyone had an experience with them at all.

Nope, but I have a pump from Catalina and it works great. What is their website, can you post a link?

that's good to hear the pump works great, hopefully the canister will work good too. once it comes and i have it running for a little while i'll post another thread to let people know if it's any good.. for $60 you really can't beat it.

Canisters look just like eheim pro 2's and if filled with the right media- I am sure they work the same.

looks like an oddysea jebo keep an eye on that filter un less thiey have changed none of there stuff is ul listed

I just bought a odyssea cfs4, cost me 65 bucks, came with all the media..I too noticed it didnt have a grounded plug so i just cut the cord in the middle, stripped it back and put in my own grounded switch, this way i can just turn it off instead of unplugging it to do cleanings...plus now its grounded

Seriously I did not want to mention the other place in fear of getting banned but that would be great here. I have 4 reviews on the aquaria central one.
