That don't want to be caught, in a heavily planted 125g tank.

Any suggestions on how to do it? I freaked the heck out of my fish yesterday trying to catch them, tore up some plants, and got really frustrated, with nothing to show for it. I've got two pbass, possible mono's, at about 3" and 5". Any hints on the easiest way to catch these guys?

they sell fish traps for people trying to catch fish in a reef tank. would work for you. its a clear box u can drop food into through a tube and then drop the door on those mofo's

I'll look into them.

I'm trying to catch them to move them to another tank. The 5 incher is starting to get big enough that I'm getting worried about him eating my tetra's. They're going to go into another 125g tank with my stingray, and an Indo Dat that I have.

That is, assuming I can catch the little buggers.

Go down at night after all of the lights have been off for a few hours and they should be "sleep".No chasing, just netting.

Unfortunetly, there really isn't an easy way, per say. Your best bet would be to give it a go after the lights have been off for a few hours or during a water change when the water is low.

You don't know frustration until you've got a 16"+ pima with tiny net and bag!

leave the net in the tank fpor like a week so they are used to it....then try but you only have one shot at catching the,

drain some water out and coax him into one net using another..
