Anyone have any homemade traps that work?.

I go out and net wild mollies and minnows in local ditches. never get crawfish though, there's someone on these forums that goes out on netting adventures too maybe he can help you more. I think his sn is Midnight.

i buy traps at bass pro shop cost 10 bucks and its hella worth it

Traps take a while.

If it is real weedy, go in the middle of the night with a flashlight and a dip net. Usually on the top of the grass, but if you can reach them they'll be on the bottom or the side. Go from behind, they are FAST!!

We use to get about 7 or more a night.

ive built traps that work on snappers! but unfortunatley left them back in ct with a buddy. still got my promar crab traps though. they work

anyone have any blueprints?

The trap is good but they open in the middle I had to use cable ties to hold them shut and the holes are way to big for mosquito fish which I was after I had to wrap it with plastic screen mesh and secure that with rubberbands granted all easy enough to do but overall didnt find it well made also bit small (for me its fine but many want bigger traps)

the material its made of is good so give it that .

I will post pic when I get home as maybe you have different type
