ive always had in issue with catching fish in my show tank because of the intricate rock work. i put the net in the tank and the fish take cover.

the other day i was having some aggression problems and decided i needed to remove one of my fish and relocate him. after several days of failed attempts and lack of desire to tear down my rock work, i came up with an idea. Spotlighting! i did this late at night after the tank lights had been off for a good while and the room was dark. used a rechargeable spotlight to locate and watch the fish in question. slipped the net in the water and was able to instantly net the fish. i suppose the fish simply coupld not see anything other than the bright light and had no idea what to do. his eyesight is perfectly fine and now swimming normal in his new home. just figured i would share...
