CATCHING SOUTH AMERICANS ON A POLE???

I was wondering if any one has ever caught an oscar , midas ,or any other central or south american fish down in floridas local rivers , ponds. or lakes I Imagine that thesse fish would put up quiet a fight on a fishing pole

I believe WckedMidas went on a fishin trip in florida and caught some cichlids...some nice Jags too...


There was also a REALLY cool thread on here with this guy that caught Red Devils/Midas....AWESOME!!! Lot's of pics on that one....go search for it!
