His previous keeper kept him and another yellow belly slider in a 2 foot tank for 6 years, so I guess he is lucky now.
I have started taking on unwanted turtles that have outgrown their tanks.
I'm collecting two more the weekend and two more next weekend.
Turtles can get a raw deal and lots are getting released into the wild, not good for the ecosystem.
I'm enjoying doing my bit to help a few of these individuals and I absolutely love them.
More yellow sliders and possibly a map turtle. I've had to put more shelves in the pond for them and I'm extending the pond to make room for more.

It's enjoyable kind of work though. I do enjoy a bit of gardening and landscaping.
