Just wondering if theres any methods to catchin a medium size snowflake eel amongst LR?

Lure out with food? Whay do you want it out?

putting food at the end of a pvc pipe with a cap on the end. when the eel goes for the food cap the other end and lift out the pipe.

think im gonna have to lure em in a pipe...Im starting to add up the other livestock in the tank and dont wanna wake up one moring to him eating a 60 dollar fish meal. He was kinda an impulse by in the first place. Guy at the lfs is going to take him for credit

bait with food and have net in tank once he come's to surface to eat food use other hand and scoop him with net.

gotcha.. yea... I wanted an eel... till I started pricing "pretty fish". The pipe idea is genius!

hey, that's a good one! i had this problem a while ago - ended up removing most of my rock. needed a new scape anyway.
that was the only time that i couldn't use the bait-with-net in-tank method. it usually works for me.

i finally got em. i had to also remove about 25 lbs of rock to get em

now that i got him out, ive got store credit at the lfs. Whats something i could replace him with? I want something that might stay around the bottom and is colorful. Current stock list: Blue tang, flame angel, yellow tail damsel, clownfish.
