I guess my question is if a catfish is stunted can u put them in a bigger tank or pond will they grow?? Im in the process of a rescue operation..

they may start to grow some, but no where near what they would normally. What kind of catfish are you rescuing?

RTC im not sure if hes stunted but hes about 1 1/2 feet and in a 75gal tank what do you think??

A lot would depend on the age of the RTC in question but given a proper diet and tank space I don't see why it would remain small.

They said something like 7 months old not sure but they have been feeding live and sliversides and sometime shrimp

18" at 7 months old is far from stunted. 18" the first year is closer to average.

yeah that's a true monster in the making. It'll grow like a weed if you put it in a bigger tank.

Just be sure to bow to the "fish gods" and set up a 12,000gal tank. LOL

get him a HUGE tank with clean water and no worries
