Catfish compatability

My wife and I are trying to figure out what kind of fish to get for our new 60gal tank to go along with my 6" syno and 5" pleco. My wife wants to get two Pictus cats, but I want to know how they will act with the syno, as well as the angel fish and discus we both want to get. Would this be a good combo?

Synos can be aggressive depending on the species you have. As for the Pictus, they are great fish and tend to keep to themselve unless a fish is small enough for them to eat. They are susceptible to ich so keep the temperature around 82F-84F and you'll be good. They keep to themselve and like to school with one another so I would suggest getting more than 2.

Angelfish and discus are very shy fish ... they do not go well with, and will be stressed by the more biosterous synos or pictus.

I've had synos and discus do great together, but not pictus and discus. They freak the crap out the discus and really stress them out.
