I am considering buying a cpl of cats. i know now that I can't put anything in the tank with an Asian RTC. But what about the SA RTC? I would like a ZSN, or TSN can any of these be kept together?

but a red tailed cat will grow much faster than a tigrinus, and may have him for lunch.
if I were you, I'd just get a tigrinus and call it a day. reason being, if you ever get tired of it, people will pay big money to buy an adult tigrinus.
but if you get a red tailed cat or a tiger shovelnose, NO ONE will pay a dime for adults and you're stuck with them. Not to mention they get HUGE.

Is there any type of cat that grows at approx the same rate as the tig. If I'm going to drop 200 on a fish i dont want him to be the only fish in the tank.
off the top of my head, juruense cat, sturio cat, vaillanti ctat, goslinia cat.

they can live with many other community fishes, silver dollars, datnoids, arowanas, stingrays, etc. you're not limited to just one fish dude.
