I have a "Valentine" Syno. Aka Decora X Multipunctatus. As hybrids go, I have no idea how big he is going to get. Somewhere between 5-10", its anyones guess. Right now, I think hes right around the 4" mark and Ive had him for a couple months. He hasnt grown very much, half an inch or so. His current tankmate is a 3" Jack Dempsey. Now, as far as those two, they get along fine. I even watch the Syno chase the JD every so often. This Syno is also EXTREMEMLY active. All the time. Occasionally he chills under a rock formation, but hes out and about pretty frequently. Very pleased about that. We bought another catfish the same day, idk what kind he is, but hes staying small and hides 99% of the time, only coming out to eat or when its dark.

Now, the dilemma. I need to part with that particular tank (only a 20 at the moment), as well as my spare 10. Im getting a 33L next week, and REALLY want to keep the catfish. The JD is going to a friend. I planned on stocking my 33 as a Ram Community. 6-8 different rams (german, elec blue, golds, etc) and some barbs or tetras. I also wanted a nice shoal of cories. If I use the 33 as a home for my Syno, will he eat or have issues with the other stock I have picked out? We DID have a danio in the 20 who disappeared overnight awhile ago @.@

Any thoughts?

Yes actually a native cat the Stonecat is really with other species in a community aquarium as long as their approx the same size.
