as it says in the title i am looking for a bunch of catfish for my 180g tank. im looking for an attractive fish that is active during the day and cleans up fairly well. my tank has large cichlids in it (jag, oscar, carpinte, and loisellei) any suggestions would be great!

I was gonna say lima too... you could probably put a couple in there, at least they max out under 18-20 inches or so..
anything smaller haha i want lots of room for my cichlids and limas would kinda take up some of that room... a lot of it actually. im more of a cichlid guy and would prefer a smaller cat that would max out at like 10ish ". i was looking at jaguar cats but would like a non-nocturnal fish.
Id go for a group of pims, lima may outgrow that tank if you have a group. Id go with say a nice group 7-8 pim pictus or 5 blochi.
