So Cal
Finally got the 7'×2'×2' up and running. Almost looks empty with what I currently have. What's a good option for a catfish, besides a pleco? The one I have is already almost 2 feet long. Here's my current stock:
1 Texas/JD/whatever he is (can't tell)
1 convict cichlid
1 jaguar cichlid
2 salvinis
11 silver dollars
1 pleco

Any help is appreciated, I'd really like to stick with central or south American cats if possible. Thanks!

U can try a lima shovelnose, they dont get that bad. If u want to spend a few $ more, get a tigrinus or a juruensis as well, they cost like half or less then a tig dose. Which ever is best to u but id stay away from monsterous sized ones like RTC. good luck bud

Regardless, I already have a fair amount of fish so u need to make sure to stay on top of the maintenance of the aquarium with or without a cat.

Four line pictus. Such a cool fish, always active and swimming around and clean up the tank really well. I have two in my 135 and I have never considered getting any other type of cat.
