hey i have a 46 gallon tank with a 7 inch senegal bichir and 4 inch African catfish. i want to add another catfish. I like the idea of getting a bullhead or lima shovel nose. any suggestions??????

Bullheads and Lima Shovel nose cats will get way too big for your tank and I'm afraid that senegal bichir will also get way too big for your tank....... I think you need to either upgrade your tank or re-home your senegal bichir...
Are you looking for something to keep permanently in the tank, or to upgrade later? As Columbian Shark said, the bullhead and LSN would out grow the tank, although the senegal would be fine for life.
I wouldn't say the senegal would get too big for that tank.
