i have an 80 gallon community tank with asorted tetras and other various fish i am looking at getting some catfish for the tank maybe something along the lines of a pictus, anybody have any idesa?

For pictus that should be good. if u get rtc or tsc that would be too small

Banjo Catfish if you like oddballs. but pictus are great. mine is always swimming around the tank and doing twirls

In one of my tanks, everyone always comments on the pictus... keep them well fed and get them small, you should be fine. Mine wouldn't touch the other fish, and were constantly active. They even come up to the top when I open the lid because they know food is coming.

Bumblebee cats are fun too, I got some for free from someone, but they WILL eat your fish. I introduced 2 new cichlids (about 1" each) to my tank with 2 3" bumblebees that would sleep on each other. Woke up to 2 fat bumblebees, and no new cichlids... Was not happy about that.

thanks for all the help, i actually already have one bumblebee in there i forgot to mention the only problem with them is they hide all the time as for the pictus i think i might get a group of them going in there thanks again
