Just got my 180. Sent it for repair with a crack on the euro brace. Cant wait to get it all going. Looking at stock for it. Whats a good catfish that can live for life in it.
I just want to look at options.

Thanks!

As an example. IMHO a rough guide that I follow states that your fish should not exceed 1' total length. So, I'd go to, say, the Pimelodus blochii page on PCF - http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/species.php?species_id=653 - and click "Find near, nearer or same sized spp." These are three links that will filter the entire Cat-eLog by size you requested. See what you recognize or what strikes your fancy. Many/most will probably be unavailable in the trade or very rare/expensive but you should find many familiar "faces", it's a good starting point to make up YOUR list of candidates of say 5-10-20 fish, what not. Then we can offer our opinions, pro and con.

Also, you could specify what your d'rathers are, importantly if you are looking for a loner, a small group, or a large group. IMHO, in your size tank, an active group of a ~dozen of adult sun cats or LSNs (Sorubim elongates really, http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/species.php?species_id=697; I doubt you will get limas) or couple dozen of Pimelodus pictus would look awesome.
