Hey so I have a 200 gallon 24inch wide, 28 inches tall and 6 ft long. My current stock is: 1 albino tiger oscar 3 inch, 1 black tiger oscar 3 inch, 1 jack dempsey male 6inch, 1 green terror 2 inch and 4 silver dollars at about 2 inches. I was wanting a catfish/bottom feeder but I wanted to know if my tank would be close to being over stocked once they all reach full size and it would be unnecessary. Also being in Australia I don't have the best variety so out of choice I have seen normal Pleco which I would like to avoid, Pictus catfish, salmon tail catfish and an eel tail catfish. If any of these are okay or if you would recommend me not getting any I would like to know thanks :)

Synodontis sp. are catfish that are great with cichlids but are from Africa.

Honestly with your current stocking, I would just add more silver dollars. They tend to eat anything before it hits the bottom.

If you really want one though, a four-lined pim (Pimelodus blochii) would be the one to get.

Here's a link for other ones that get close to the same size (7-11"). The default search result only posts about 25, but you can refine the search and set it to 100.

If you had to get a catfish I'd recommend a sailfin from Africa like mentioned above. However if it was me I wouldn't add anything else. It ill be awhile, but with everything full grown it will be a full tank. I also wouldn't keep SD's in a group smaller than 6. Just my 2c hope it's helpful
