Catfish for my tank

Hello my tank is 36" by 18" and was wondering what type of cat I could get I have a Raphael. I'm not looking for something shy i would like it to be personal any suggestions

Ornate pim, Horabagrus, four-lined pim, any Synodontis species under 12". IME, most catfish are very shy for the first year or so (at least). The only exceptions I've had were a spotted pim, an ID shark (which died of ich soon after I got it), and cories.

I'd go with the pictus catfish. A spotted pictus would probably be your best bet. I believe it wouldn't be to big for your tank and they are extremely active.

electric cat is not legal in some states, so it is not a good advise! pictus catfish are good and not grow too big for that tank!

Hoplo catfish would be another option. They are very peaceful but not shy, and very interesting to watch

i would go pictus as they are extremely active and very beautiful fish!
