Catfish hiding spot

Ok my tig likes to hide in this spot. And he lays there very odd. Since he hides curved that won't affect his growth will it? I mean the tank size is fine he just choices to sit like that.

Looks well fed, and no, the way it lays there should not effect the growth. I'm sure from time to time it swims around a strecthes out. Give it something to hide under. They really like to hide especially when young. Some drfit wood if possible or PVC pipe if nothing else.

This one i got from a local mfk on here in PA. My last I got from a vender on here call Jeff rapps. He is under the market and his company is called tangled up in cichlids. Alittle pricey 300$. But was very healthy and shipped well. If you want on keep a eye in the regions. I picked up 2 for a friends for 100$ each. Now they where only 3".
