Catfish ID (Channel ? )

Hi,

Can you ID this catfish for me ?
Channel, blue, etc are not common in trade in my country and I found an add for this one (in a site similar to your craiglist - so not specialized in animals) saying it´s about 5-6" and it´s being sold for around 10 USD...

100% Black Bullhead. Smaller ones will only get to about 10-12" but if it has the right genes to get to max size it could potentially get up to 24", but that's highly unlikely. I'd expect anywhere from 10-15" or so max size for most of them.

No. I decided not to.

Bullhead

If it has a forked tail it is not a bullhead, but if it has a a not forked tail it is a bullhead catfish.
