catfish id help

Picked up this guy for free cause his eyes are kinda glazed looking. He's about 3 inches long, kinda looks like an upside down cat but I've never saw one so big. More yellowish green than an USD cat as well, but that could be from the water.

Any care advise for its eyes? It almost looks natural, just covers the pupil, he can still articulate his eyes and its vision doesn't seem seriously impaired

I dont think its a eupterus. Theirs no featherfin. The dorsal fin is tiny...

his eyes look completely gone not just glazed in the photos, hopefully you can bring them back.

I'm not feeling eupterus either...I'm sure someone else will chime in with more experience.

At three inches a Eupterus won't have developed the long featherd dorsal fin. Its actually looks like a cross of some sort. Eupterus are usually a little stockier.....after a second glance I'd say Eupterus hybrid.

I have to agree with this. There are rarer cats that look similar but for free I think its just a common hybrid.

There is a good chance. The head spots match up perfectly.

Found this picture on planet catfish. Also in an ID thread. Maybe its eyes are normal? They look about like that honestly
