That's what I thought. How big is your biggest catfish you have and what's the tank or pond kept in?In a small(ish) tank/pond, probably yes.
Really, I think no one knows for sure but the farmers that make them. In a large tank of at least several 1000 gal, I'd expect at least 3' (in 5-10 years) as both parents reach that. Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum, the maternal species, grows even bigger. Leiarius marmoratus, the paternal species, maxes out at ~3' in the wild.
