catfish ID please!

hi everybody i have had this catfish for about 5 years now but dont know what he or she is? its about 16 to 18in long and eats everything! lol! even the guy at the fish store just called it a catfish. any info would be greatly appreciated! feel free to ask me any questions. thanks!

Lol how does it look like a jaguar catfish? Just wondering? Because it's a Cephalosilurus apurensis or Cephalosilurus fowleri.

I stated that it KIND of looks like a jag by the pattern on it's skin.....????

Well PC is known to be wrong on a few occasions and I have seen the species over 16" before.

I agree. And from what I've seen of them, both species often look a lot bigger than they actually are in pictures.

Either way I think you are right. I would not mind having one of these guys myself. i was Looking for a Chaca Chaca, but I like the look of these guys too!

yeah, i've seen specimens well over that size before.
a vendor on here has one at his walk-n store ( at least used to) and it was huge.

WOW! that was fast! i know i asked the right people. the reason im asking is its geting to big for my 150g and im thinking of selling it. anybody know what its worth?
