catfish in 125 gallon

I have a 125 gallon with severum,firemouth,jd,gt,oscar,convict all are juvies around 1 1/2 inches i have 6 or more caves and tons of plants,rocks. what is a good catfish for this type of setup i have very little experience with catfish.:)
 
I know bullheads are pretty hardie and I think are a good beginner catfish. They where my first catfish. I myself have the spotted ones, which stay in the smaller range anywhere from 6-12" Whats the footprint of the tank?
 
My tank is 72x 18 wide im not sure how high but is considered standard.About the bullhead is that a native coldwater cat,i have never seen any in pet stores are they hard to get?
 
They can be kept in cool water or warm. I have some in unheated and some in heated tanks. I find when they are in warmer water they are more active. Whats your tank temp right now?

Yes they are native, but some lfs will get them by accident with their feeder fish. Thats how I got all of mine. You can always ask all your lfs if they have ever got in a bullhead with their feeders.
 
Thanks for all the info.Im going to check out some of the fish stores this weekend see what i can find esp on the bullheads.
 
if you can't find bullheads, you could also try the 4-line cats or even a large synodontis if you're ok with mixing continents
 
no problem mixing just want a cat that is somewhat tough enough to handle my stock. how about the pictus cat i see them all the time anyone keep them?
