What catfish can I put in a 29g? Note: I’m already getting bumblebee and corys for a different tank

How about a group of pictus cats? Even a group of tatia musaica would be awesome.

Other members can correct me if I’m wrong about minimum tank size but I believe a farlowella catfish would look cool

How about a nice group of banjo catfish? Can’t go wrong with them. How do you feel about nano catfish?

In my experience back when I had my picture catfish I found they were far too active for my 4 foot tank so I wouldn’t put them in a 29 but that’s just my opinion.

a group of oil cats (Duringlanis perugiae) are always fun. Some Mystus bimaculatus would be neat too if you can find them. Glass cats (Kryptopterus vitreolus) perhaps?
The second fish is available at the wet spot if I remember correctly. The last one might be too but don’t quote me.

I would do pictus but I’m getting them in my 75g and they need more space then a 29g I was thinking maybe a few smaller syno cats. Not a huge fan of the banjo cats

Most corys, shadow cats, smaller plecs, many tatia, debawi cats, smaller synodontis, pair of hoplo, all of which could be breeding projects which folks would love to hear about.
might want to give more details on what you want to keep them with, breed them, want from them, etc.
personally I think breeding different fish is a great by product of the hobby, a great way to learn and can give you a way to pay for upkeep. And we are always fearfully to hear how you go on.

I actually went to my LFS and bought a 2” spotted Raphael catfish for like 6 bucks and I was thinking maybe doing him and maybe either honeycomb catfish or glass catfish
