I have a Rhinodoras Gallagheri, and a decent sized Three Beacon L091 I never see. They both keep hidden under their respective rocks. The current tank inhabitants you can see in the video do not allow food to stay on the bottom...all voracious feeders. I feed 3mm NLS Probiotix to the tank...generally hand feed the Midas first to keep him content.

My question is how do I make sure these guys have intake? They were all fed pellets and what not prior to me owning them. I do have Hikari freshwater Mysis and Jumbo Bloodworms I can supplement too. I know both fish are nocturnal, but I have never seen them out at night... it doesn't mean they aren't...

Any suggestions?

...I am used to Synos eating like pigs during feeding along with larger Plecos.

You can try using a feeding tube and dropping the pellets down near their caves. Also try feeding at night as the other cichlids should be less active. Nice looking tank!

I have a Rhinodoras dorbignii that I never see.I know where it hides so every few days I'll drop a few sinking pellets down into the opening of it's lair.In my case simply dropping pellets in the dark of night probably wouldn't help much as I have other more active night feeders in the tank as well.
