catfish or cichla you decide!

So my girlfriend is buying me fish for valentines day. I was going to get just 2x rtcxtsn but after talking to the c.r.e.a.m fellas i want to try my hand at cichla now too.

So should i get

2x rtcxtsn
4x cichla mono
or
1x rtcxtsn 2x cichla mono.....

29 gallon quarentine to 125 growout to 350 gallon 6' diameter x24" high stock tank. Thos wont be for life though.

I would go with the cichlid but I am not sure about the quantity.

Ill have my big cats back eventually (rtc, rtcxtsn, channel, id sharks, ect.)...i am just getting back into fresh water and wanna try somthing new.

My cat unplugged the power strip to their tank while i was at work and they all died due to lack of oxygen...i was very sad to have lost all of them. I will check out that catfish.
