This is mfk...no poll is needed...get them both lol...ive kept both species in multiples and each are enjoyable in their own way. Goonch are more of a "show" cat with looks that kill but there more stationary most the time...Wels are far more personable/active ime and more of a "wet pet"... ill also say the wels grows alot quicker but both cats are still fairly slender at 30"... no true cat collector should be without both lol... wels can handle a bit more "poor husbandry" or "human error" opposed to goonch. One slip in husbandry and goonch drop like flies.
