Ok so I saw a catfish at the LFS today that looked like a rapheal cat, only it was about 8" long. anyone know what kind of catfish it could be?

an adult rafael catfish? i know they get pretty big, but it takes them forever to get there.. they grow very slowly.
it might be im not sure since its only got one white stripe down its side. I know when rapheals are small they have alotve white stripes, or they have spots.
don't know.. i've only ever seen one adult rafael catfish and that was a couple years ago.
my ex thought they were the bees knees, but was smart enough to realize that they probably wouldn't survive with my peacock bass or his RTC that i am now stuck raising.

ya that RTC will eat anything that can fit into its mouth without hesitation. One might be able to live with a P bass.
thats what i expected a big rapheal to look like. this thing had the same body but only 1 stripe down its side an was black everywhere else.
