Catfish with aro?

What kind of catfish would i be able to keep with my aro? I would like something that will get along with/not eat other fish too(CA cichlids, bichers, eels, etc). This is a 180 gallon btw...

Your best bet would be a synodontis or Lima.

i have a hemi nemerus in with my aro and they get along great and that is in a 78 for temp reasons till my 225 cycles

What size fish are lima safe with?

fish the same size or larger. A full grown aro might be trouble for your lima though. Limas max out in the 18-24" range, and are slender as all get out even at a large size. Guess it would depend on what species of aro you plan on keeping.

i have a Lophiosilurs Alexandri ( Pacman catfish ) in with my Aro's. Nary a problem.

since your aro will out grow that tank i'd say get a tigrinum or a juruense a lima might be good but if you have a silver aro then it will probably outgrow the lima
