Catfish with my O

I'm looking for a fish to clean up after my messy O, the store guy told me that an aluminum cat would be best. My O's about 4 inches. what do you guys think? I don't need anybody to eat algae, just somebody to eat the scraps up.

plecs imo --- a common plec worked great mine with the armour my o gave up harassing him..

a plec. should do the job all around, eat scraps, algae, and even fecies

my o bit off the pictus' tail and a good portion of body one day after getting along fine for almost a year go with the pleco he may try to eat it but he wont try it twice.

true a pleco or two will do the job an then some.

channel cats have always seemed to work well, but long term they get pretty big

Depending on the Oscar, a pleco may not be a good idea. Pleco might die.
