Can this happen they are roughly the same size? They seem to be playing twirling round each other, can I have them in the same tank?
Catfish with Plecos?

I have seen plecos with nearly every mix possible. I can't imagine it being a problem unless you are looking to get a extreamly aggressive fish
It depends too much on the individual plec and individual catfish. My Royal Plec & Raphael catfish all do fine together. A common I had along with a Feather Fin catfish hated each other. There's thousands of plecs and thousands of cafish. When in doubt, try it.
i dont think ur gonna have a problem with ur mix, however, I will say i once had an rtc and a pleco who I was sure the rtc could not fit in its mouth. about three hours later..... u get the idea
You may be surprised how well they seem to pair up. When I brought home my common pleco, he was the same size as my then 8-9" achara catfish. They instantly paired up, and followed one another. Over a year later, the achara has grown to 27" and pleco to 14"....and the achara has eaten many of a fish (learned what he "likes" to snack on), but he doesn't bother the now much smaller~than~him pleco. THey're still 'buds'
Now, I have an adonis and a sydno....catfish. can't think what it's called. They don't tolerate each other and are always having territorial issues (in another tank)
