Catfishing in France

my uncle is one of those unreliable uncles and has said his mayt has organised a fishing trip to france (catfish) for realy cheap 5 days with all eqipment £140 hopefully he will take me and i will catch a big un.
but can you post some pictures of ur catfish

Off back out the to ebro (spain) in june for a 100lb plus cat, here's a carp I caught there on xmas day

I have only caught small U.K. ones but have caught quite a lot of them wile fishing for carp. France was a Mecca for them years ago on the river Saone a man called Luke Moffet pioneered it but since they gill netted the river it has never been the same and they say it will never fish the same again. If you’re going to France you have to fish lakes now but if you want the Mecca of European catfish you go to Spain and fish the Ebro. The biggest on is a mear 28lb in Spain they are now topping 200lb+
