cats for a 29bf

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
In my 29 I gots a Syndontis (Eupterus I think, might be a hybrid, once I get a camera...) who is doing quite well but I want to get her in a bigger tank (she can get a lil mean to the corys, nothing too bad yet, and/but she is still growing). She's currently about 5" and fat, LFS said she'd stop at 6" but I have my doubts.
She's gourgeous though, all golden tan with a pale pink belly, spotty with big black barbells. Whenever I feed she comes right outta her cave swims up the glass, flips on her back and starts hoovering the heck out of the color flakes and mini pellets I have for my growing angels.
Once she is in bigger quarters I'm thinking more corys. I have a heard of 5 albinos (which are spawning as we speak) and would like to get 5 spotty ones. I hear that they'll form separate tribes. They are great, always playing leap frog with each other and swimming about in formation, taking care of any blood worms that hit the gravel, all trying to eat the same alge wafer at once.
