bellevue, ne
im currently in transition (college graduation looming) and i need a big tank to keep my clown knife in that wont require a ton of money, the other side is that i dont really care what it looks like so i figure a cattle trough would be the best way to go and build myself a diy wet/dry to filter it. but i am having the hardest time finding a 150+ rectangular trough (plastic preferably)

has anyone here done this? where did you get the materials and how much did it cost?

Look into any Co-Op store or farm feed store
The one in my area carries over 15 different styles of stock tanks from rubbermaid one up to 300 gallons and galvinized steel ones as well
and they are cheap.

If you do a search, you can find lots of info on turning a cattle trough into an indoor pond. ALso, any local feed and supply or tractor supply store would carry them or order one for you.

yeah it will work. Lowes also carries them
