Flying feline, hidden kitten: The fur flies in amazing 'Ninja' cat fight
Leaping through the air, claws outstretched these cats appear locked in mortal combat.
But rather than a deathly duel over a mouse or territory, this acrobatic pair are simply play-fighting.
Dubbed the 'ninja cats' after the Japanese feudal warriors, the sparring pair are in fact Muffi and his friend Tiger.

Airborne: Muffi (right) and Tiger clash mid-air with Muffi sinking his teeth in his opponent's fur

Take that: This frame catches the two pals getting to grips mid-air
The pair were caught acting up on camera in scenes reminiscent of the martial arts film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, by their owner Mats Hamnas in the back garden of his family home in Helsingborg, Sweden.
The computer programmer said: 'In these pictures it looks like they are at each other's throats, I was really surprised how fearsome they look.
'Muffi and Tiger actually get on really well, but when you see them in these shots they look like a pair of ninjas attacking each other.
'It's amazing how they move through the air and the expressions they have are priceless.

Yeah, you want some? Muffi stands tall as Tiger ducks to one side
'I had to get really close to the action to get the shots right, but I actually felt like they were playing up for the camera sometimes.'
Mats, 62, said that five-year-old Muffi and Tiger, aged four, love to follow him through the woods near his house in Sweden.
He said: 'They are like dogs sometimes in the way that they follow me through the woods and they are always up to mischief.
'They do fight a lot, along with my other cat Zazza, but I know it's all for fun.
'When the fur has stopped flying they all cuddle up together in the house and the day of fighting is forgotten.'

It's not over yet: Just as it looks like Tiger is in the lead, Muffi springs away
