Caught another bowfin today....

Hey guys I caught another bowfin today but this time it was a female :D and its HUGE.... Can i keep the two together or will there be problems? I remember that someone made a joke on my other post that now my male needs a female and now hes got one lol.... I'll have up pics ASAP thanks to all that provided info last time and I hope to hear from you again.... Chasingtime that means you buddy.... :naughty: lol thanks again to all....

O and I have a pretty big gar in the tank that I caught a couple days ago but hes up for grabs I was just keep n him cause I wanted another Bow but now that I have her im good and so he has to go gotta make room...

Just to give you a warning when bringing them in from outside. Watch out for Fish Lice on them. You will notice them crawling around on the skin, especially when out of the water. You should be able to get them healed up nicely in no time, from the fin tears and such.

Thanks.... My male had a ton and went through alot of crap in try n to get them off but she looked ok but still gonna take the advice and quarantine...
 
Tried all spring break to catch one, still couldn't....maybe ill have better luck in a few weeks.
