Caught in the filter

Hello, I cleaned my canister filter after about a month and a half of neglect, and found this little guy inside.



It was a JBL CristalProfi e901 that had been servicing a flowerhorn grow-out tank for a few months.

Anything like this ever happen to anyone else? Please post.

Yes about 40-50 Midas lol in my sump. I breed Midas but this was a community tank so most died from getting eaten but some made it through in my sump and survived somehow..

Damn I usually discover much smaller fry in my filters. I had a pleco that would go missing all the time and I discovered he would swim into the outflow of the aquaclear filter and just hang out in there.
