caught the biggest crappie ive ever caught today. it was huge. i also caught a silver bass and a smallmouth bass that was 19 inches. i usually only catch largemouth bass but was told that was very large for a smallmouth. what do you guys think? i have pics on my cell phone but im going to need to buy a adapter to hook it to my pc.

19" is big for a Smallmouth. I just caught a 19" Largemouth about three weeks ago. I would have got yours mounted. Try to post pics.

i was fishing the channel on lake erie. i also caught something that grabbed my large minnow and took off for the other side of the channel. i didnt have a full spool of line but decent amount. it almost took it all then it came back as i fought him almost to the surface before my line snapped. i had about 4 onlookers. all i needed was to get him up another foot so we could see what it was but it snapped my line. i was ticked. i didnt care if i got the fish or not. i just wanted to see what monster i was fighting. my guess is a channel cat or lake trout maybe a sheephead. if it were a sheephead it had to be a big one.
