Hey this might be a weird question, but has anyone in cali every caught a peacock bass from a lake or river. If so can u post Ur catch and tell us the size, lure, and and the species. people keep on telling me that they have caught some peacock bass in Southern California but I really don't think so it might be true becausemost of the time it's pretty warm down there. but here in Northern California our water is always cold most of the time ,like a reservoir that we have here has never gone over 68 degrees a even when it gets over 103 degrees outside its never over 63. but if you have any peacock bass please tell me those pictures specifications on the bass anything that can help me out like lure, size anything please tell me. Thx

I highly doubt any cichla can survive any natural non heated lakes or ponds in CA.

That is just a myth. There are no cichla in any lakes here in SoCal. They could probably do well in the summer but winter water temps would kill them off no doubt.

Justin I don't believe u one bit.
