Remember, last month when I got my qurted of bay snooks, I was posting about having problems getting them to eat? Since then this issue has been resolved but I now noticed something weird happenning...

All 4 fish were greadily eating Hikari Gold pellets, plus one was also taken FD krill. This lasted for 4 weeks or so during which petenias were putting on a nice bulk and coloring up beautifully. Suddenly, earlier this week (must have been Monday or Tuesday) I noticed one of the females not eating. She acts just fine otherwise, maybe a little calmer than the other 3 but definetely far from being lethargic. Each time food is offered she perks up but other than swimming out to investigate there is no reaction. Its as if she suddenly doesn't like pellets. I even tried some feeders on Friday but she appeard to be just a bit too slow to catch them and her tankmates gobbled all up before she had a chnace to eat any. The fish looks fine, there is no stringy poop (in fact she doesn't deficate because she has nothing to do it with). The reason I am growing concerned is because she has gotten noticebly skinny. Not as if she is waisting away (common symptom with parasites), but definetely looks much thinner than the other 3. I am just curious if I should start panicing yet? I definetely dont want to loose this fish and while I am still not certain if she is sick or just being stubborn, perhaps I shoudl try treating with something now? If so, with what? If no, how much longer should I wait until beginning to medicate?

Yes, I understand that. But what if she is sick? I guess what I should be asking is how likely is it fir this particular species to suddenly and unexplainably change their eating habits?

i would put her in her own tank and the offer some food
maybe she is just a being overpowered by the other three

get her by herself where she don't have to compete for food till she she gets fat and strong
then put her back with the others
