Being thick bodied snakes, blood pythons can poop! He was holding it from June to September. I'm relieved he's relieved. I'm sorry if this offends, next time take heed in the caution. :D

I gathered the poop into a pile, but it measures about 6"x6"x2". Impressive for a 4 foot snake.

did not smell too bad actually. hard as rocks. i tried everything from keeping up humidity to soaking him regularly.

they're just tough poopers. anybody have any tips? he seemed to go after i skipped a week of feeding. maybe there's a correlation?

They aren't tough poopers........They need clean water, and won't touch anything over 10 hours old........What you see in chronic dehydration, which is unfortunatey the norm for Blood Pythons in captivity......Look at the Urate clumps.......Should tell you everything you need to know right there........Soaking is a captive fallacy, as it really does the animal no good.......Keeping up the humidity helps, but only slows the loss of internal moisture.......Most Indonesian Pythons are thin skinned, and lose internal moisture/dehydrate very quickly.......

:WTF: bigger than my poop! lol j/k... or am i? :barf:

no snap! i've not heard this anywhere? i guess the poop shows what you're saying but my python drinks from his bowl all the time. changed every 24 hours. i thank you though! i'll change more often.
