How do I make a cave and other decorations for my tank? I've got a 30 gallon tank with two goldfish in it. The tank is more or less bare. I haven't gotten them any decorations yet. Anyone know any good websites?

drfostersmith.com great site..... :)

I use 4" pvc pipes that I cover with large rocks (5"-10" diameter). This makes perfect caves for bigger fish, and the rocks hide the non-natural look of the PVC. For smaller fishes I just use large rocks, the crevices between the rocks are big enough for fish to go in and hide.

Also terracotta flower pots broken in half (sand the edges please!!) works well, my jack dempsey love those.

take the pvc idea, but rough it up with sandpaper, then cover it with aquarium sealant, then dust it with sand or push aquarium gravel into it. let it sit a couple days. instant mainetance free cave that looks natural, but adds no weight or stress to the tank.
