Cave's For A Single Male JD

Hi everyone. I decided to keep Rocky by himself in the 72 Gallon Bow Front. I was wondering if I should put a cave in there for him? I know everyone mentioned it for a pair but was wondering if you do it for a single JD. Thank you.

Dawn if Rocky is not shy and interacts with you personally see no issue putting a cave in the aquarium for him.

+1, I'd give it a try, they seem to appreciate to have their own place to relax or sleep in -- even in my bare bottom tank I provide a diy shelter for my Kamfa which he clearly appreciates but is still very interactive; I reckon Rocky would also like it but you never know til you try I guess. And I'm sure your cave will look much better than my ceramic dragon vases + plastic cooking board roof lol.
