CB Polypterus Endlicheri Growout

Introduction: Hey guys. I recently rehomed a lot of my fish and purchased more suitable fish for my 180 gallon tank. One of the new ones is a polypterus endlicheri. I think it will go nice with my stock and help keep the bottom clean along with my ornate bichir. My endli was purchased at 3”. I will be periodically updating on his growth and everything.

Growout: I have him in a 75(4’x1.5’x1.75’) gallon aquarium. along with him I have two 2” monoculus peacock bass and two 4” raphael catfish. I keep the tank around 84 degrees fahrenheit and I feed twice a day. I usually give them thawed bloodworms or live guppies and ghost shrimp because I want to get them to be a little more comfortable and a little bigger before I start pellet training.

Plan: When the endli is big enough, he will be moved to my 180(6’x2’x2’) gallon aquarium to live with a Florida gar, Ornate bichir, and two Mono pbass.

Week 1: A week has passed since I bought him and he has put on noticeable growth which is cool. He is also starting to get more comfortable in his tank. He is now spending less time hiding around the top of the tank near the filter stuff and spends more time along the bottom of the tank looking for food. He doesn’t like me or my phone and often darts away if I come to close.

Also, I would really appreciate if you could help me with an aquarium related survey for a huge IB math studies project I have to do. Just post your country of origin and that's it. here is the link for that: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?569206-Please-Vote-IB-Math-Project-Survey

nice intro. next is the pics.

He's a beauty! I've read that when you start live feeding, fish may lose interest in pellet food, so keep an eye out for that! We just ordered an endlicheri (same size) just yesterday afternoon, so it'd be fun to compare the growth of the two. Keep the pictures comin :)

Sweet glad he's growing!! I just got a lap a week ago was going to get an endi because I think they look the most dinosaur like!
