Hi
Didn't know weather to write this but does anyone else use a camera to watch their tanks while at work or holiday?
My tank will be in a unit around the corner from mine as the misses said no to it in the house ha so could do with a good camera to watch my rays and I have digital thomometer and ph and ammonia alerts in the tank I could do with watching, so if anyone knows of good cameras please let me know.
Thanks

I use these:

My only complaint with them is they tend to lose color often. I am not tech savvy so I assume it is a me issue but worth noting nevertheless. The pros are you can connect multiple together and the app is very user friendly.

I intend to replace these with pan, tilt, zoom types in the near future.
Ye I was thinking of the pan/tilt cameras but the only place I can mount it is like 2-3ft away so need one that's not to focused if you get me like wider view ?

I run a pan / tilt IoT cam on the back side of my tanks to keep an eye on the sump and filter socks, but I can pan to both tanks as well

It's mounted to the ceiling about 2-3 feet behind the main tank and probably 6 feet away from my plant tank that runs off the same sump. I can pan to see both. There is no zoom ability. The main tank is thru the wall of my basement into a finished room, the plant tank is just to soak nitrates up and grow out some stuff. Pardon my wiring mess, soon to be tidied up.

I use this app on Android for mine, can watch over WiFi or on the road with mobile data.
