Cedar driftwood? Bad for fish?

Just heard that cedar driftwood is bad for aquarium use. Is this true?

So long as the cedar isn't the least bit green, it'll be OK in aquariums. If it looks nicely water-worn it will be fine.

Yeah I bought it off ebay. Its a driftwood company. They collect it from local ponds and lakes, Then they soak it in freshwater then they wire brush it ,Then its heated to 250 degrees for 8-12 hours. So its completly dried out and washed of parasites. They guaranty that it is aquarium safe. But I still wanted to check before putting it in my tank.
