Cedar Point has once again let me down... Last year they were making a huge hype about a new ride that they were building by millennium force and all the clues they were giving out suggested toward them building a new roller coaster. This summer they said that they were going to "expand" their park. Now most people would think that this meant they were going to add onto the peninsula somehow or something to that effect, but really all they meant was building on the beach, and what they are building on the beach has sure let me down once again...

pretty much an over-sized carnival swing if you ask me...
 
oh and the ride that they built new for this year that they made people think was going to be a roller coaster was basically a log ride
 
They have already maxed out their coaster possibilities i believe. I mean, who goes to CP to ride on some swings? Idk

it may seem like they've run out of room but really there are many possibilities still such as moving some of the employee housing thats on the peninsula to make more room. i've even heard people say ideas like building out into the parking lot and building a parking garage to create more space
